    Error codes

The pupose of this thread is to collect user information on various Vedit Error Codes.

Here is a very simple example:

    CANNOT SHELL OUT ERROR #2

For example, I do get this code if I try to use a Chdir(..) command where the argument is a non-existent directory.

Sorry, I have misquted the Vedit Error Message:.

    Specifically, it was:

    DIRECTOY NOT FOUND: D:\Local\Programs\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex\bin\x64

In other words, it gives a reason why the command could not be executed. I would like to emphasize that Vedit had very good reason of not finding that
directory. Specifically, I have renamed it.

So, a big thank you to Ted.

Once again: My previous exapmle for the CANNOT SHELL OUT ERROR #2 is a wrong one. I shall come back to it later.
