How to become a REAL Windows 7 administrator

    Windows 7 users:

As you probably know, even if you give your account "administrator" rights, there are still certain things you cannot do, at least not with more prompts or steps.

Well, there is a REAL administrator account available, called Administrator, but you have to enable it.
(Obviously you need normal "administrator" rights to do this.)

    >>> GUI Method (Only works with Win7 Professional and Ultimate)

    1. In the Start menu, right-click on Computer and select "Manage".
    2. In the Manager, select User Accounts.
    3. Select "Administrator"
    4. Uncheck the "Disabled" box.
    5. Logout and log back in as Administrator

    >>> Command Prompt method (Works with all Win7. Right click on "Command Prompt" and "Run as administrator")

    1. Give this command:

    net user administrator /active:yes

    2. Logout and log back in as Administrator

IMPORTANT - Be sure to add a password for the Administrator account.

With this Administrator account, the UAC is disabled and you have full access to everything just as you did with e.g. Windows XP.
